Authorities on alert over anti-Sri Lanka event in Germany

The government is probing an anti-Sri Lankan conference that is to be held on October 02 at the Protestant Academy in Stuttgart, Germany, ‘Divaina’ reports. Three NGO activists, including a professor, are to travel from Colombo to the three-day conference, which will accuse the Sri Lankan government of serious human rights violations, it adds. The news reports further says that several organizations attached to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs have funded the event.
